How It Works / Cómo Funciona

Assessment / Evaluación: The therapist meets with the youth and family to understand strengths andneeds.
Treatment Plan / Plan de Tratamiento: A plan is created with goals, strategies, and supports for thefamily.
Family Sessions / Sesiones Familiares: The therapist works with the child and family to buildcommunication, coping, and problem-solving skills.
Coordination / Coordinación: Collaboration with schools, providers, and community supports.

■ Strengthens family relationships / Fortalece las relaciones familiares

■ Reduces emotional and behavioral challenges / Reduce los desafíos emocionales y de comportamiento

■ Improves school and community functioning / Mejora el funcionamiento en la escuela y la comunidad

■ Provides support in the home and natural environment / Brinda apoyo en el hogar y el entorno natural

Participate actively in sessions / Participe activamente en las sesiones
Practice new skills between sessions / Practique las nuevas habilidades entre sesiones
